Whoa, where'd this come from, and who is this guy?

I've had a weblog for several years over on our PolicePro site, at:

We're going to be changing the authoring software for that website and returning to our original policepro.com domain as well over the next month or two; so this seems as good a time as any to break off this part into its own entity.

I doubt there are too many people out there waiting breathlessly for whatever it is I'm going to postulate on next, so what the hell... I enjoy writing once in awhile, and while still somewhat PolicePro centric, this might allow me to go off in different directions if I feel compelled to do so. Blogging is at its heart a selfish self-centered indulgence, so perhaps I'm better served here, at least at arm's length from PolicePro.
